Cara

Cara is a confident Osteopath who is passionate about helping people to optimise their health. She brings great energy and a wealth of professional experience. Cara came to York in 2019, having worked with professional athletes over the last decade.
She gained a Master’s Degree in Osteopathy at the University College of Osteopathy, London. Cara is registered with the General Osteopathic Council, a member of the Institute of Osteopathy and The Osteopathic Sports Care Association.
Cara has a particular interest in women’s health. She completed her undergraduate research project on the menopausal experience. Cara offers tailored care that focuses on the management of what can often be an uncomfortable phase of a woman’s life.
Cara has previously worked in professional football and with elite athletes and triathletes. She is a keen sportswoman herself, having previously competed at national level in hockey. Cara continues to enjoy sport as a social level but maintains her competitive nature!
